PE

Classes have been busy in PE! We have explored spatial awareness on the trampoline, practiced moving with various locomotor skills, and prepared for upcoming Special Olympics events. Students have enjoyed volleyball skills and game play, bowling activities, football games, Bocce, and incorporating technology using the Wii and Gesture Tech. Upcoming Special Olympics activities include basketball, cheerleading, and swimming. Please contact Coach Crowe or Coach McAbee with any questions about Special Olympics participation. Go Eagles!

Art

The McCarthy Teszler visual arts curriculum helps students understand how media, technique and process are used to create works of art; how artworks are structured; how art has a variety of functions; how to identify, analyze and select subject matter, symbols and ideas for personal/cultural expression; how historical and cultural contexts provide meaning for works of art, and how to assess the merits of their own artworks and the artworks of others.
